Based in Puerto Rico, Spasm is a clothing line that was founded in 2013 by a team of entrepreneur architects and graphic designers.
Spasm began with an innovative fashion proposal inspired by the visual complexity behind reiterated minimalist patterns. Through these graphic repetitions, their avant-garde fashion art has been gradually transcending what is historically recognized in the fashion industry as unisex clothing. Spasm’s sense of design is composed by the combination of digital art elements such as photography, illustration, sketching, architecture, etc. They’re mainly known for their famous unisex boyfriend-cut tee shirts and the psychedelic pattern designs that are gracefully printed on them.
As a clothing company who advocates hybrid experimental clothing and graphic designs, Spasm created Amphibious.
Amphibious (am-fib-ee-uh-s) adjective: Related to the multifaceted aesthetic of being suited for both land and water.
